Day 44
Austin is still alternating between the CPAP mask and the CPAP prongs. His O2 requirement today hovered near 39%. As a reminder, the goal is to be at 21% which is the same level that we all breathe.Austin is inching in on a kilo...weighing in at 995 grams this evening. He is up 40 grams from weigh in time yesterday. 5 more grams to hit that 1000 gram milestone. 995 grams is equivalent to 2 pounds, 3 ounces.
The plan for the near future is to leave him alone and let him grow...

Austin and I had another talk today. He told me that he had been thinking of steak all day and that he really would like to put some more meat on his bones(for the girls of course and mom too!) He also told me that he didn't want to leave his brother and sisters out of his new singing group, so he came up with the new group A-1 AND THE TRIPLE A'S........I told him that would be great especially since his new professional name was associated with steak.He is a clever dude!It is wonderful to see how God is working!!!!

I am a friend of Carrie White's and have been praying for you all since Austin was born. Please know that all over this country people are praying for and loving your little son. I pray for your continued strength. May each day you feel closer to our heavenly father.

Good Morning Austin!!!!
We are glad to see that you are still doing a great job of growing and doing your exercises. Life is Good.....So many people are praying for you ,I wish we could count how many sometime, that would be cool. I just wanted to say hi and tell you what a great little guy you are!!!!
