Day 59

Austin is doing well today and moved from the "critical" NICU room to the "grower" room in the NICU...to make room for a set triplets and a set of twins. Moving up in the world! Austin gained 15 grams today weighing in at 1290 grams...On his way to 3 pounds.

Austin's first pair of newborn shoes are from his Uncle Dick in OH...its still going to be awhile before he's sporting these cool kicks.

  • what a sleeping angel. My eyes filled with tears of joy seeing so many wonderful pictures. As I put my 25 pd- 15month son to bed tonight, I thought about your family and wondered how wild it will be that Austin was once such a peanut when he becomes a big baby boy too. It will be hard to believe he was ever this small. What a blessing from God. He is so good and there are no words to describe his love.... Thank you Lord for this little miracle boy.

  • You totally shocked us with that picture!!!! Dad and I are very touched by Austin and his amazing progress and the GIFT GOD has given him. The shoes are so cute!!! The kids and all of us look forward to this blog every morning...They all ask how he is doing......

    We sometimes feel in limbo about our lives and our relationship with GOD, and Austin being a MIRACLE and losing mom has totally changed my life and the commitment with GOD. Both Big fighters and Both GIFTS from GOD, mom was too weak to fight , although she fought a long time.......... Austin is a breath of fresh air and the inspiration he gives all of us is not easily described in words. He is truly blessing ALL of us and making us better people, and we need to PRAISE GOD and tell him thank you for showing us his love and what it means to believe that he is the ALMIGHTY....

    Thank you Jon and Gina for being the great parents you are and believing in GOD and trusting him to help Austin.....I have a new gift from GOD watching a Miracle grow and be so beautiful...PRAISE GOD...

  • He's so beautiful! Its so easy to believe when God gives us miracles everyday, and I think this might be his best yet. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I cannot wait for the day I can capture that precious face on my film! Keep praying cause he definately listens and is obviously answering back.
