Day 53
Austin is now alternating between the nasal cannula and the CPAP mask. This is his second go with the nasal cannula which is another step in the right direction! Gina held Austin again tonight...2 nights in a row. He was a little more tuckered out tonight, but once again he enjoyed his mommy time.
Austin lost 10 grams weighing 1200 grams tonight. He must have received the breast milk from when MiMi Kura was here and all we had to eat was FETA Cheese and a little bit of lettuce (family joke). Nice to see him without his hat on!
We continue to be amazed by the little life that we are watching develop before our eyes. Thank you for your interest in our little guy and for your consistent prayers! We appreciate you all.

Eileen Thomas e mailed the blogger to several of us. So glad she shared the address.
This evening I read from the beginning.
What a little fighter Austin is.
He must be like his grandparents:)
I have enjoyed learning to know the grandparents of this miracle baby.
God Bless

Hi Gina and family! We think of you often and keep you all in our prayers! So happy to see you holding Austin. I would have written sooner, but I am computer illiterate and had to have Christine help me. She leaves for Malone 8/13. Hopefully by then I can do this myself. Here goes.....
